The living room is traditionally the room we spend most of our spare time in. We relax, watch TV and spend time with family and friends in this room. As such, it needs to be suitably decorated for many functions. During the day it needs to be light and airy with plenty of daylight. And in the evenings in should be cosy, warm, welcoming and comfortable in a soft inviting way.
No matter what your personal style is, at some point, you’re probably going to want to change things up. When that happens, there’s no need to wait until you’ve saved enough money to redo the whole room. Even the pros say small design changes can make all the difference. Keep their advice on hand for the next time you need to shake up your interiors. Their tips will help you make a huge impact at an affordable price.
The bedrooms should be well planned well. The rooms should get proper ventilation. There must be ample cupboard space and storage areas. The lights should be well placed.
Create contrast using color. This is probably the most obvious use of contrast and the easiest! Giving a room a complementary color scheme — or one that utilizes two shades on opposite ends of the color wheel — will create the strongest impact. For this, black and white will never go out of style. However, if your sense of style is a bit more colorful, you could also use color combos like blue and orange or purple and yellow.
