The living room is traditionally the room we spend most of our spare time in. We relax, watch TV and spend time with family and friends in this room. As such, it needs to be suitably decorated for many functions. During the day it needs to be light and airy with plenty of daylight. And in the evenings in should be cosy, warm, welcoming and comfortable in a soft inviting way.
Add weathered and rustic pieces from outside, such as a bench or wicker rocker. Or go for simple wood or rattan pieces, such as an accent chair or table, to lighten up your furniture grouping. Hang or lean aged, weather worn wood and iron gates on your interior walls before closing the doors to your outdoors-in design season.
