There are new types of windows that help to trap heat within a building. Heat-trapping windows often utilize a special type of glazing that reduces the heat of a home in the summer and increases it in the winter. These windows, when sealed properly, help to reduce your home's energy costs indirectly by making it so that you do not need to utilize your heater or air conditioning as much.
The living room is traditionally the room we spend most of our spare time in. We relax, watch TV and spend time with family and friends in this room. As such, it needs to be suitably decorated for many functions. During the day it needs to be light and airy with plenty of daylight. And in the evenings in should be cosy, warm, welcoming and comfortable in a soft inviting way.
